West Pacific
189 homesPuerto Vallarta and Punta Mita, on Banderas Bay where the Sierra Madre meets the Pacific. The largest concentration of Mexican villas we represent, and the one with the most fully staffed houses.
Mexico is the number one international vacation destination for U.S. visitors. We represent professionally managed, privately owned villas across its key resort areas - from fully staffed luxury houses to beachfront condos - available weekly, monthly or seasonally, year round.
The places our guests return to most, ranked by how many homes we currently represent there.
Mexico gives you two entirely different coasts. The Pacific runs dramatic, with mountains or desert meeting deep water; the Caribbean side is flat, pale and calm, over the second-largest barrier reef in the world.
Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita, on Banderas Bay where the Sierra Madre meets the Pacific. The largest concentration of Mexican villas we represent, and the one with the most fully staffed houses.
Los Cabos, at the tip of the Baja peninsula: desert running straight into the sea, a dry climate almost year-round, and a corridor of resort communities between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
The Caribbean side. Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and Tulum sit on warm, clear water over the world's second-largest barrier reef, with the cenotes and Maya sites of the Yucatan inland.
Acapulco and Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, further down the Pacific coast. A small book of homes in two long-established Mexican resort towns.
A rotating selection of top-tier Mexico properties, each one professionally managed and photographed.
Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita on the west Pacific, and Los Cabos on the Baja peninsula, hold most of what we represent between them. The Riviera Maya - Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and Tulum - is the Caribbean option and a smaller book.
Our Mexico homes run from luxury fully staffed villas to more modest beachfront vacation condos. A staffed house changes the week completely, and it is the single question worth settling before you start comparing properties.
Mexico rentals are available year round for weekly, monthly or seasonal stays, so a month or a season is a routine request rather than an unusual one. Say up front if that is what you are after; it changes which homes are worth showing you.
Platinum, Gold, Silver and Value rank a property on its interior furnishings only, not on price or location. A Platinum or Gold home can cost less than a Silver one with a better view, and we move a ranking up or down as a home is upgraded or left to age.
The things travellers ask us most before they book.
Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita hold the largest share of the villas we represent, on Banderas Bay where the mountains meet the Pacific. Los Cabos, at the tip of Baja, is drier and more desert-like with a long resort corridor. The Riviera Maya - Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and Tulum - is the Caribbean side, with calmer, clearer water and the reef offshore.
Yes. Every home on this page is privately owned but represented by an established local property-management company that handles cleaning, maintenance and guest support during your stay. Before a property joins our portfolio it is vetted on location, quality of the accommodation, access to amenities and the reputation and responsiveness of the management company, and it is removed if it stops meeting that standard.
Yes. Our Mexico rentals are available year round for weekly, monthly or seasonal stays. Tell your agent the length of stay you have in mind at the start, because it affects both which homes are available and how the rate is quoted.
Some homes accept pets and some do not, and it varies by property rather than by resort area. Use the pet-friendly filter above to see the homes that currently allow them, then confirm the type and size limits with your agent at the start of the selection process rather than after booking.
They are our own rankings, and they describe the interior furnishings only - not the price, the view or the location. A newly fitted kitchen can earn a home a Platinum ranking even though a Silver-ranked property nearby is more expensive because it has a better position. We revise rankings over time, up when a home is upgraded and down when it has not been refreshed in a while.
It depends on the resort area, the season and whether the villa comes fully staffed. Where an owner has published a starting rate you will see it on the listing; where they have not, rates are quoted on request, because they change constantly with season and length of stay and we would rather price your exact dates than show you a number that has moved.
Tell us who is travelling and when, and a destination specialist will narrow four coastlines of villas down to the handful that actually suit you.
