About this home
Meta Description: Stay in a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath canal-front vacation home on Anna Maria Island with a private heated pool, boat tie-up, Wi-Fi and beach access.
Discover the easygoing charm of Anna Maria Island from this spacious canal-front vacation home on the island's desirable north end. Designed for families, beach lovers, boaters and anyone seeking a relaxed Florida getaway, this classic single-family home combines generous indoor space with the outdoor lifestyle that makes Anna Maria Island so special. With 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a loft, private heated pool and direct canal access, the home provides an inviting base for days spent swimming, boating, fishing, exploring and relaxing.
At approximately 2,210 square feet, the home offers plenty of room for groups of up to 8 guests to settle in comfortably. The multi-level layout creates natural separation between living and sleeping areas, while the additional loft provides versatile space for children, extra guests, reading or simply taking a quiet break. After a day exploring the Gulf Coast, guests can return to the comfort of air conditioning, settle into the living room, connect to complimentary Wi-Fi or enjoy a favorite program on the Smart TV.
The home's three bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to eight guests. Bedroom 1 features a king-size bed, while Bedroom 2 has a full-size bed and Bedroom 3 also has a full-size bed. The additional loft space provides useful flexibility for families and larger groups, making it easy to spread out during an extended Anna Maria Island vacation.
There are two full bathrooms. One is an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and tub, while the second is a hall bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Fresh linens and towels are provided, and guests also have access to a hair dryer, iron and ironing board for added convenience.
The outdoor space is one of the home's standout features. Step into the private backyard and you'll find a private heated swimming pool overlooking the canal, creating a peaceful setting for morning coffee, afternoon swimming and relaxed evenings outdoors. An outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a trip to the beach or a swim.
The canal-front setting also brings opportunities to enjoy Anna Maria Island's boating lifestyle directly from home. Approximately 15 feet of open seawall is available for tying up a boat. Guests may also enjoy bringing kayaks or paddleboards and taking advantage of the property's waterfront location. Water conditions can vary with tides, weather and other factors, so guests should check conditions carefully and make alternative arrangements when necessary. The boat lift and motorized watercraft are not available for guest use.
Inside, the home is equipped for a convenient self-catering vacation. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, ice maker, coffee maker, blender, toaster, kettle and essential utensils. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast before heading to the beach, packing lunch for a day on the water or enjoying a family dinner at home, the kitchen gives guests the flexibility to vacation at their own pace.
The living spaces are equally suited to downtime. Guests have a television, Smart TV, cable TV, books, telephone and free Wi-Fi, while central air conditioning and heating help maintain a comfortable environment throughout the year. A washer and dryer are also provided, which is particularly useful for families spending a week or longer on the island.
Positioned on the north end of Anna Maria Island, the home puts guests within easy reach of the island's distinctive combination of beaches, waterways, local businesses and Old Florida character. Anna Maria Island is known for its low-rise coastal atmosphere, white-sand beaches, independent shops and relaxed pace rather than the feel of a conventional high-rise resort destination.
Nearby Pine Avenue is particularly appealing for visitors who want to explore on foot or by bicycle. This popular north-end area is lined with restaurants, dessert shops, boutiques, galleries, jewelry stores and gift shops, and sits close to several of Anna Maria's best-known landmarks. The island's beaches, piers and waterfront parks provide plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing, photography and simply enjoying the Gulf Coast scenery.
For beach lovers, Bean Point Beach at the northern tip of Anna Maria Island is a memorable place to experience broad white sand, Gulf views and a quieter atmosphere. The island also offers several other beach areas, allowing guests to choose between peaceful stretches of shoreline and more developed beach parks.
Fishing enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy around the island. The Rod & Reel Pier is a well-known north-end landmark with bay views, fishing opportunities and waterfront dining, while the Anna Maria City Pier and Bridge Street Pier provide additional places to stroll, fish and watch the water. For guests interested in kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, snorkeling, diving, parasailing or other water-based activities, the island's surrounding Gulf and bay waters offer an extensive range of recreational possibilities.
The location makes it easy to experience the quieter side of Anna Maria Island as well as its most popular attractions. Bayfront Park offers views across Tampa Bay, while the Anna Maria Island Historical Society provides an opportunity to learn more about the island's past. Pine Avenue is ideal for an afternoon of browsing local stores and enjoying a meal or dessert, and the nearby piers are excellent places to watch boats and look for marine wildlife.
For a change of scenery, guests can explore farther south toward Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach. Coquina Beach offers a well-equipped Gulf-front setting for a full beach day, while Bridge Street combines waterfront scenery with shopping and dining. The island's relaxed environment also makes cycling, wildlife viewing, eco-tourism and outdoor exploration natural additions to a Florida vacation.
One of the pleasures of staying on Anna Maria Island is having so many independent dining choices within reach. North-end options include The Waterfront Restaurant, a bayside restaurant known for seafood-focused American cuisine, and The Porch Restaurant, an intimate cottage-style restaurant offering seafood, steaks and New American dishes.
For a beachfront meal, Sandbar Seafood & Spirits offers a classic toes-in-the-sand island experience, while Beach House Waterfront Restaurant provides Gulf-front dining farther south. Other island dining choices include Rod & Reel Pier, Pizza Social, Poppo's Taqueria, North Shore Cafe, Ginny's and Jane E's, Slim's Place, Two Scoops and numerous seafood restaurants, cafés and casual eateries.
Approximately 15 ft. of open seawall for boat tie-up
$150 non-refundable pet fee per pet, plus applicable tax
Guests are asked to plan parking carefully, as the property accommodates a maximum of four vehicles and additional vehicles cannot be parked overnight. The approximately 15-foot seawall provides space to tie up a boat, but canal and channel depths fluctuate with tides, weather and other conditions. Guests are responsible for checking current conditions and arranging alternative watercraft plans if water levels are unsuitable. The boat lift and all motorized watercraft are unavailable for guest use.
Because this home is located in a residential neighborhood, respectful behavior is important. Guests must observe applicable noise regulations and maintain reasonable noise levels throughout their stay. Occupancy limits are strictly enforced, and exceeding the permitted maximum can result in significant penalties and immediate eviction. These policies help preserve the peaceful residential character that makes Anna Maria Island such a desirable vacation destination.
