About this home
As sophisticated as its name is playful, Putt For Dough is a luxury property that will appeal to devoted beachgoers and avid golfers alike. Tucked into verdant landscaping on the Abaco Islands, this Bahamas vacation rental is minutes from the first tee and the beach and boasts views over gorgeous Winding Bay. Four suite-style bedrooms make it spacious enough for a family holiday, while its secluded location is quiet enough for honeymooners, too.
From the minute you step onto the villa’s grounds, Putt For Dough charms with lush gardens and traditional Caribbean architecture. Its gracious porches offer views over the lush greenery, plus sitting and dining areas where you can enjoy warm tropical breezes along with a refreshing drink or complete meal. After a day at the beach or on the links, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and if you’ve been out fishing, prepare your catch on the barbecue.
The villa’s classic pale blue and white color scheme continues in the second-floor great room, where sand-hued walls are the backdrop for turquoise chairs and a matching coffee table. Dining chairs upholstered in pastel tones continue the refined yet beachy feel in the dining area, and woven chairs at the breakfast bar are a hit of natural texture alongside gourmet stainless steel appliances in the fully equipped kitchen.
Four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are private oases within Putt For Dough. There are two elegant master suites—one that opens to a balcony and one that opens to a terrace—and two bedrooms with a queen bed and two double beds, respectively, both of which open to the terrace.
