This rental is a stunning retreat nestled in a serene forest setting at 10,200 feet, surrounded by majestic pine trees and a tranquil mountain stream. This luxurious log home offers an authentic mountain lodge experience, combining rustic charm with modern comforts to create the perfect year-round getaway. Spanning 5,112 square feet across three levels, this five-bedroom home comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests, making it an ideal escape for families or groups. The lodge’s mountain contemporary design features exposed log beams, soaring ceilings, elegant flooring, and expansive windows that invite the beauty of the outdoors in. Multiple decks provide the perfect vantage point for taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery and fresh alpine air. The great room is the heart of the home, boasting a grand stone fireplace, leather seating, a large-screen TV, and direct access to the deck, creating an inviting space for relaxation and entertaining. An impressive log staircase leads to a cozy loft above, offering additional space for reading or sleeping. Culinary enthusiasts will love the remodeled gourmet kitchen, equipped with high-end appliances, a six-burner gas stovetop, double ovens, and a spacious granite island with seating for five. The kitchen seamlessly flows into the dining area, making it an ideal space for gathering over meals. The upper level is home to the spacious primary king suite, featuring a fireplace, sitting area, and an ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and dual sinks. A nearby loft offers a quiet retreat for reading or additional sleeping space with a twin trundle. On the main level, guests will find three beautifully appointed bedrooms, including a queen suite with a private bath, a second queen bedroom, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. These bedrooms share a well-appointed bathroom. The lower level is a haven for kids, with a bunk room featuring two twins and a bunk bed, complete with an ensuite bath. Entertainment abounds with a dedicated theater room featuring a giant projection screen for movie nights, a rec room with a billiard table, TV, bar, and game table, and an outdoor patio hot tub where you can unwind under the stars. Additional amenities include a mudroom for gear storage, a washer and dryer, spacious upper decks with forest and mountain views, an outdoor gas grill, and a heated two-bay garage with parking for up to three vehicles. Please note that four-wheel drive is required during winter months. This rental offers easy access to nearby hiking trails, and a free town shuttle stop at the end of the driveway ensures convenient transportation to downtown shopping and dining. However, guests should be aware that mobile phone service can be spotty, though a landline is available for use. The home is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, paper products, bathroom toiletries, detergents, clean linens, and a well-stocked kitchen. Although the home does not have air conditioning, Colorado's cool summer nights keep it comfortable. Ceiling fans and additional floor fans are provided to ensure airflow, and A/C units are available for rent if needed.
