About this home
This apartment is a magnificent 120-square-meter (about 1,292 square feet) apartment which sleeps five people. It is only 200 meters (about 656 feet) from the sea, and it features two spacious terraces overlooking Positano and the sea. The apartment is actually inside a sumptuous eighteenth-century historical palace in the center of Positano, in the pedestrian area. It has also access to a shared garden.
The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning. It has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a dining-room, a living-room with a fireplace and a divan bed for one person, two bathrooms with shower, a kitchen, and a laundry-room with a WC.
The apartment is on the first floor, and you reach it after climbing a beautiful original 20-step staircase dating back to the eighteenth-century.
As soon as you go through the entrance door, you will feel privileged to spend your vacation in a place rich in history and beauty. The apartment is part of a building which used to be the vacation home of the king of Naples in the eighteenth century.
The apartment consists of four big rooms which still preserve high ceilings embellished by a line of frescos and also magnificent doors where you can admire the rich original decoration. The apartment has been carefully renovated in a functional way, and along with the fascination of the old, you will also find all the comfort of a modern apartment.
The living-room is formed by two rooms placed one next to the other. In the first you will find two couches and armchairs around an age-old fireplace. One of the couches is a divan bed for one person. In the second room you will see a large round dining table.
