About this home
The name says it all. Find everything you’d imagine from a traditional island beach house, plus countless refined touches at this picturesque bungalow which opens onto the white sand of Flamands beach. Get a taste of quiet beach life knowing you’re only a quick walk from an area quickly gaining a reputation as St. Barts’ gold coast.
A beautiful teak terrace wraps the house and leads you directly to the beach. Start each morning with coffee at a small round dining table and watch the early birds (both winged and human) saunter along the sand. Soak up the sun from a chaise longue or hammock then cool off in the sea. Watch boats dot the horizon as you grill fresh seafood on the outdoor barbecue. Serve up your seaside feast at the larger dining table that seats 10.
Large French doors opening keep the sand and sea in sight when relaxing in the living room. High ceilings, large windows and white walls give the home a bright, breezy feel. Sink into one of the custom made sofas while you enjoy a movie on the flatscreen television. Prepare an exquisite meal for your guests in the modern kitchen and serve it on elegant tableware from around the world.
Both of Beach House’s 2 bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms with walk-in shower, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The Master bedroom has a King size bed while the second bedroom houses 2 Twin beds. In each room a set of French doors leads you out on to a terrace surrounded by gardens of lush green island flora.
Flamands beach provides the best of both worlds. Head West to spend calm days swimming and snorkeling. Walk East for a few minutes and you’ll be surrounded by luxurious hotels and restaurants, including some of the best Creole cooking on St. Barts. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy the trail to Colombier beach. If it’s retail therapy you’re after, the upscale shopping of Gustavia is only a 4.7 km drive.
