About this home
Built on the hillside, facing out towards an amazing ocean view, Belle Etoile is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean climate and landscape. Just outside of St. Bart’s capital city of Gustavia, this luxury rental is in a prime location for enjoying numerous public beaches, hiking trails, and of course, the lavish city nightlife.
Belle Etoile’s design has one single focus, the ocean. The layout is wider than it is deep, creating more surface area on the ocean facing exterior wall. This design element ensures the maximum amount of indoor spaces that can open onto the terrace. The décor is simple, artistic, and elegant. A minimalistic color palette allows the bright blues of the ocean, and the striking greens of the palm trees to easily capture ones attention. The living room is decorated with cozy designer furniture and its background is the lush garden on the opposite side of the villa.
After the ocean, the terrace is Belle Etoile’s main attraction. A long infinity pool spans the width of the terrace, surrounded by both covered and uncovered outdoor living spaces. The sun bed positioned within the covered portion of the pool is a great place to relax after a swim. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, espresso machine, and formal dining for ten.
The bedrooms at Belle Etoile all feature their own private terraces with seating and ocean views. They all have ensuite bathrooms as well, stocked with beautiful modern fixtures, stand-alone showers, and dual vanities. All but one of the bedrooms has a king sized bed, the other features a queen.
If you’re looking to explore, try hiking the Colombier Beach Trail leading to a secluded beach, only accessible by foot or boat. If a trip to the city is more your style, Gustavia is a fascinating place to spend an afternoon. Historically influenced by the colonial regimes of the Spanish, Swedish, British, and French, Gustavia is a truly unique place to visit on your Caribbean vacation.
