Key West Walk to Beach Four Bedroom Vacation Home

On an Island full of magnificent Victorian architecture, the trend toward modernistic design has made its mark. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation home is a brilliant example of this. Offering ultimate resort-style living, this private retreat is an ingenious pairing of a custom-built 2-story Key West avant-garde home with an elegant free-standing cottage. The two buildings are seamlessly connected by a spacious tropical pool garden providing enhanced privacy with tall fencing and mature landscaping. Here you enjoy multi-level wooden decks and a brick courtyard set for alfresco cooking and dining, and look-down views of the pool-garden from the 2nd-floor deck adjoining the master suite. When you want to see more, climb the outdoor spiral staircase to the roof-top deck for stargazing and a panoramic view of the Key West neighborhood.

Before we begin a tour of the property, take notice of the intriguing contemporary curb appeal. Multi-level/multi-style roof lines - from gable, to flat, to rounded; a geometric arrangement of modern paned windows of various shapes and sizes, vertical ship-lap siding, and minimalist fencing of white aluminum horizontal slats. Tall tropical hardwood trees softly frame the distinctive outline of this Key West, Florida home.

Enter the property through a locking gate into a front courtyard hard-scaped with aged brick and contemporary lava rock. Six stairs lead to a covered front porch, then a custom hardwood front door opens to the spacious entrance hallway.
