This stunning Mediterranean-style home in the private estate of Mont Jean, is one of our top St. Barts vacation rentals. Discovered in 1493 and settled by French colonists in 1643, the island of St. Barts is a tropical paradise known for its unspoiled beaches and its ability to attract the rich and famous from around the world.
Relax with a cold drink on one of the stylish lounge chaises spread out on the sun deck. The large semi-circular infinity-edge pool appears to blend into the sea ahead and is a great place to cool down. If you’re looking for shade, you’ll find cushioned wicker patio furniture under one of the covered portions of the terrace, as well as an outdoor dining table, perfect for alfresco meals after a day of adventuring.
The interior of this elegant home exudes a Mediterranean flair with beige and orange tones throughout, complemented by wood accents and well-chosen art work. The airy living room opens up to the side terrace with a hot tub, and is furnished with plush white couches surrounding an opium coffee table. Just next to it, the dining room offers a table with seating for six and looks out through the pillared terrace and sea views, while a gourmet kitchen completes the open-concept space and is divided from the living room by a breakfast bar.
Three bedrooms will comfortably sleep up to six guests, and each offers private en-suites and air conditioning. The master king sized bedroom is located in the main home and boasts beautiful sea views. The remaining two bedrooms, also king sized, are located in a separate bungalow with views of Marigot Bay.
Lorient Beach, a reef protected spot with calm waters that are perfect for swimming, is just five minutes away, while the boutiques, restaurants and attractions of the capital town, Gustavia, are a 7.3 km drive from the villa.
