About this home
High atop the hills of Lurin sits Infinite View, a shimmering beacon of clean, contemporary design surrounded on all sides by lush, tropical flora. A sense of calm will set in as you savor the view of St. Barts’ emerald waters and neighboring islands dotting the horizon. But when you’re ready to explore, downtown Gustavia is only minutes away.
A mixture of polished tiles and teak wood make up the expansive terrace running the length of the house. Choose your spot and situate a deck chair for an afternoon of sunbathing. Cool off with a dip in the infinity pool whose edges appear to blend into the ocean waters. Bring home freshly caught seafood and grill it on the outdoor barbecue as the sun sets or enjoy a cocktail while the lights of Gustavia twinkle below.
The lines of indoor and outdoor are blurred, as the main living-dining pavillion features retractable glass doors on two sides allowing you to choose your environment. The house is furnished with the finest materials by designer Christian Liaigre, and sleek hardwood cabinetry is found throughout. A 42” television, DVD player, Wi-Fi and zoned stereo system make up the modern amenities and a gourmet kitchen, fitted with marble, wood and stainless steel surfaces make cooking a pleasure.
The villa sleeps 6 and each bedroom contains a luxurious en-suite bathroom with polished stone surfaces and double spa shower. The Master bedroom has a King size 4-poster bed and opens onto a private deck. The second room has a king size 4-poster bed and the final room, found in a private bungalow, contains King size bed or 2 Twin beds and a walk-in closet. All bedrooms include air conditioning, ceiling fan and entertainment system.
Head into Gustavia on a shopping excursion or for a French fine dining experience. It’s also well worth trying the local Creole creations. Historic St. Jean is only a 4.2 km drive and has some of the island’s best beaches. For a more low-key experience, Lorient Beach is one of St. Barts’ best kept secrets.
